Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
The concepts taught by Napolean Hill have changed many lives, including mine. It is truly inspirational and one of the best books I've ever read!
Think and Grow Rich was first published in 1937 and is the end product of two decades of research. Napolean Hill's research began after Andrew Carnegie inspired him to spend the next twenty years preparing himself to take "the secret" to the world.
The book contains the secret, a magic formula, that has been put to practical testing by thousands of people, in all walks of life.
Since then, thousands more have achieved success and accumulated riches using this formula, which Napolean Hill calls "the secret" throughout the book.

Desire: The turning point of all achievement
Auto Suggestion the medium for influencing the subconscious mind
Imagination: the workshop of the mind
Decision: the mastery of procrastination
Persistence: the sustained effort necessary to induce faith

How to outwit the six ghosts of fear
This book not only shows you what to do but how to do it. He offers step by step instructions on how to accumulate riches and also a self-confidence formula that will translate timidity into courage when applied.
Think and Grow Rich is more than a "how to get rich" book. It is a guide on how to live the life of your dreams. The techniques offered will give you the strength and confidence to grow and pursue your goals with determination and faith.

FAITH is the "eternal elixir" which gives life, power, and action to the impulse of thought!
FAITH is the starting point of all accumulation of riches!
FAITH is the basis of all "miracles," and all mysteries which cannot be analyzed by the rules of science!

FAITH is the element which transforms the ordinary vibration of thought, created by the finite mind of man, into the spiritual equivalent.
FAITH is the only agency through which the cosmic force of Infinite Intelligence can be harnessed and used by man.
Thoughts which are mixed with any of the feelings of emotions, constitute a "magnetic" force which attracts, from the vibrations of the ether, other similar, or related thoughts.
No thought, whether it be negative or positive, can enter the subconscious mind without the aid of the principle of auto-suggestion, with the exception of thoughts picked up from the ether. Stated differently, all sense impressions which are perceived through the five senses, are stopped by the conscious thinking mind, and may be either passed on to the subconscious mind, or rejected, at will. The conscious faculty serves, therefore, as an outer-guard to the approach of the subconscious.
Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting desire into its monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the power of will.
The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. If you find yourself lacking in persistence, this weakness may be remedied by building a stronger fire under your desires.
Fortunes gravitate to men whose minds have been prepared to "attract" them, just as surely as water gravitates to the ocean.
There are a few different versions of Think and Grow Rich, each by a different publisher. It is my understanding that some of these versions have been slightly altered.
